Need help with my build, is it suitable for me?

Hey all, I've been using a laptop for years and want to switch to a desktop build, been eyeing up a build on pcspecialist but want some advice on if its a good enough build to run most games on high/ultra 1080p at 60fps and some 3d modelling/rendering work too, my main worry is overheating as my last pc had a lot of thermal problems, what are your thoughts on the specs? Thanks!! Any info or advice for me would really help as im a bit new to building pcs over just buying a laptop or somthing.

one more note lol, i play Final Fantasy 14 a lot, and i want to make sure i can stay at a constant 1080p 60fps on maxed settings on it, would this build be ok for that? and thermals wont be an issue or anything?

I included most stuff, as i said ill be using the pc mostly for gaming and a little bit of 3d modelling/animation work, main game ill be playing is final fantasy 14 and other mmo like titles like that

my monitor is 1920x1080 at 75hz

the build is about 1400 euro but my budget is 1500ish

I would try to bump the budget up a little if you can. That's a very old generation system you have chosen now. It's end of life on the platform so much better idea to get something modern. Unfortunately all systems are expensive now so below is the best I could do while aiming for a decent spec.

I compromised on the PSU as it's not what I would like to choose, it'll do the job nicely at this level though so hopefully you won't be looking to upgrade too much past those power requirements.

thanks for the reply :) whats the issue with this case? I just really love its design for the pc and wondering why change it? and when you say its an old generation system, what parts make it older gen?

I'm was struggling to get anything worthwhile under £1500 never mind €1500.

GPU prices are crazy at the moment, and the decent 1080p cards are €400 on their own.

I even considered going for the 8700G (Radeon 780M) and foregoing a discrete GPU to get within the budget, but the gaming trade-off wasn't worth it (about 50% less FPS than even the RX6600) and you'd lose any GPU acceleration in your modelling/rendering workload that a RTX4060 would give you.

It's a very basic, thin metal case with poor fans, fan control, and airflow.

If you want that white aesthetic, then the Corsair 4000X RGB White (glass front) or 4000D RGB (mesh front) are better options...but as with anything better it comes at an additional cost (€50-€70 in this instance).

They also allow you to control the ARGB via Corsair's iCUE software to sync everything up (fans and cooler). The PCS case and fans are usually done via motherboard software, a button on the case, or a remote control. But as the only ARGB item will be the case fans, I'm not sure how important that will be to you.

thanks, yeah my whole table/workstation looks are white and light pinks/blues so id rather keep that look with the main pc too

You don't want to buy nice new performance parts and put them in a generic box, it's just not a good choice unfortunately. Think of it akin to a the 90s horseshoeing in a 2l to a Nova. Looked great and went like stink, but any sort of run in the thing and it would overheat. This is why they chopped the front off the bumper to get the air through a bigger rad :D

If you want the white aesthetic unfortunately you need to pay for it and it's quite expensive (as above). I wouldn't compromise other areas though so I would look to gather the extra funds rather than take away from other areas.
